Kazakhstan
Certification. GOST K (Gosstandart
of Kazakhstan) Certificate
of Conformity
Kazakhstan Certificate of
Conformity GOST K is issued
by an accredited center for
products, technologies,
works and services.
Currently there are 10
different certification
schemes. Different
certification schemes
provide for different terms
of validity of the
certificate.
There are products subject
to mandatory certification.
Voluntary certification is
concluded on the initiative
of manufacturers of traders
to prove the conformity of
products within regulation
requirements.
The Law on Certification
requires that all imported
products subject to
mandatory certification
should be accompanied by
documents identifying the
producer, the date of
production, the expiration
date, storage requirements
and the code of use in both
the Kazakh (state) and
Russian languages.
UkrSEPRO.
Certification in Ukraine
In Ukraine the GOST-R
certification is not
accepted, UkrSEPRO
certificates are necessary.
The UkrSEPRO is a current
Ukrainian certification
system, which proves
conformity of products with
standards and technical
rules, demanded by the
government of Ukraine.
There are products which are
liable to the mandatory
certification.
There is also the Voluntary
Certificate which gives the
bigger prestige for the
imported goods to Ukraine.
